Cumbria Medical Training

Cumbria Medical Training (CMT) was started in 2004 to provide training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and use of Automated External Defibrillator. CMT follows the UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines. CMT is able to deliver high quality, customised and UK Resuscitation Council compliant training in an enthusiastic manner. It can also offer advice in organising the emergency equipment within your area of work.

CMT also brings the BLS training alive through scenarios and role-play relevant to your places of work. These thought provoking sessions can raise issues of concern and it can be very useful in working them out during these resuscitation scenarios.

Sometimes by placing equipment in a different part of the building, having an external telephone in a corridor or just setting off all the alarms so everyone knows what to do when they hear them and not think it is a car alarm! These small examples can help assist staff to cope with managing an emergency in their work place.

CMT has built up an excellent relationship with the organisations it has trained over the last 6 years. It has shown it is highly reliable, enthusiastic and very flexible in assisting different organisations and groups to develop their training needs.

Helen Bramwell can also provide advice on purchasing any necessary equipment, depending on the organisations needs (see the Links page for recommended websites).
